Rob Berry

Rob Berry, born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, is a dynamic individual with a passion for sports, music, and business leadership development. His athletic journey began at a young age with a focus on elite level hockey and baseball. Rob earned a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in Canada. Shortly after completing his education, he embarked on a new chapter of his life and moved to the United States in the mid-1990s. Rob and his wife, Fany Delage eventually became US citizens, settling down and raising their two amazing children, Alexa and Zach. Rob is a man of many talents and interests. He is a skilled musician, proficient in playing the piano, guitar, and bass. Rob is also an avid SCUBA diver and happens to be a scratch golfer.

Rob discovered pickleball in 2019 during the COVID pandemic. Embracing the sport, he invests considerable time honing his skills. Rob has dedicated countless hours to watching and studying pickleball matches on YouTube, constantly seeking ways to improve his game. With his favorite Goliath paddle, Rob has developed a level of touch and feel that has provided a significant boost to his confidence on the court. He thrives on the challenges presented in tournament play and aims to reach the pinnacle of the sport by achieving a senior pro ranking by the end of 2023.

Rob finds inspiration in the Phantom culture and leadership sharing, “I appreciate the authenticity of the individuals behind the brand and the team they are building.” He also commends the friendly and welcoming nature of the Team Phantom athletes he encounters. Rob’s future is bright in pickleball and he is one of the good guys you will meet on the courts which makes him the perfect fit for Phantom.
