Junior Ore

Junior Ore hails from Gaithersburg, Maryland. Growing up, he developed a passion for tennis at the young age of three and has been honing his skills ever since. He went on to attend Texas A&M, where he became a two-time All-American and helped lead his team to both Big 12 and SEC Conference championships. He was also ranked #1 in NCAA doubles.

While still playing and teaching tennis, Junior has more recently found success in pickleball. He already holds a DUPR rating of 6.41 in singles and 5.45 in doubles and his pickleball career is just getting started. One of his favorite things about the sport is that age does not matter and he loves the challenge of perfecting his skills and being tested by other great players.

Junior uses the Phantom Goliath paddle. He feels the soft carbon fiber surface and gritty texture allows him to focus on maximizing his game and enjoys being more creative with his shots. Junior is also a big fan of the Phantom team and enjoys the personal interaction and support they provide. He is happy that they are based locally, which allows him to participate in more events and get a behind-the-scenes look at the business as it grows. He appreciates that Phantom is a genuine company that brings together genuine players.

Junior's goal as a player is to be the best he can be every time he steps on the pickleball court. “I take pride in my creativity with the shots I hit and my tennis background helps me spin the ball more effectively,” explains Junior. He looks forward to continuing to compete against the best in the world and pushing his limits to reach his full potential as a professional pickleball player.
