Chase Ismail, a dynamic and enthusiastic student from Toledo, Ohio, is making a name for himself in the competitive world of pickleball. Currently attending Langston Middle School in Oberlin, Chase has a passion for mathematics because it stretches his problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.

Raised by two supportive parents, Chase was introduced to the sport when he was just 10 years old. With two younger sisters, Isabel, age 7, and Lyla, age 2, he enjoys his close-knit family dynamic that extends onto the court. Chase quickly realized he had a knack for racquet sports, but it is pickleball that has captured his heart. He now competes vigorously in both sports, often teaming up with his father in high-level 5.0+ tournaments.

Beyond sports, Chase has a range of interests. He is an avid fan of ice baths, finds joy in playing the viola, and thrills in the adventures of roller coaster parks like Cedar Point. He is committed to pushing his limits and always trying to one up himself.

Chase’s dedication to pickleball is driven by its accessibility and the joy he finds in the sport’s team aspect, especially when playing doubles with family. His choice to align with Phantom was influenced by the brand’s genuine care for its players and the exceptional quality of their paddles. For Chase, Phantom represents a supportive community that feels like an extension of his own family.
